The grass-fed difference

Our organic cheddar cheese has a natural soft golden colour, without the need for the addition of food colours. ​

The secret to our naturally golden cheese comes from our grass-fed and pasture-raised cows. New Zealand’s temperate climate means our organic cows are outdoors in the fresh air and sunlight, grazing on pasture. ​

It’s this diet of grass which leads to higher beta-carotene in our milk which gives the cheese its soft golden colour. It’s the grass-fed difference you can see.​
